Study Active named as finalist for Education Provider of the Year award at ukactive Awards 2022
We at Study Active are excited to be shortlisted for the Education Provider of the Year award at this year’s ukactive Awards.
This fantastic news means that we are nominated for one of the industry’s biggest honours, as trade body ukactive recognises the very best in the physical activity sector.
The shortlist for the ukactive Awards 2022 has a wide-ranging mix of fitness and leisure operators of all sizes, including local councils, prominent suppliers, leading universities, sports bodies, and charities. Held in partnership with Active IQ, it shows the strength of the industry and the resilience and initative shown to rebuild the sector in the wake of the pandemic.
As one of the leading providers of gym instructor and personal training qualifications in the UK it was imperative for us at Study Active to ensure that students felt supported and could continue their studies during such turbulent times. We took the bold step to move the provision for all our learners to a virtual model, moving away from the traditional methods of study and embracing e-learning, webinars and online tutor support. We feel honoured that this hard work has been recognised by ukactive and we have been shortlisted for such a prestigious award.
The awards ceremony will take place at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham on Thursday 30 June, with hundreds of leaders from the worlds of fitness, health, leisure and sport expected to attend.
James Luscombe MD of Study Active said "We are extremely proud to of been shortlisted for this prestigious award. We always aim to provide high quality skills and training so it's very nice to be recognised in this way."
Huw Edwards, CEO of ukactive, said: “We are delighted but not surprised by the number of incredible entries and stories we have received for this year’s ukactive Awards, which is testament to the unquestionable resilience and innovation within our sector.
