What qualification will I achieve and what are the course specifications?
Upon successful completion of this course, you will achieve the Active IQ Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness (RQF) (Qualification Number: 603/3794/1). This qualification has a Guided Learning Hours (GLH) value of 15 hours and a Total Qualification Time (TQT) of 20 hours, reflecting the time required to complete both guided study and independent learning. The qualification is designed to provide learners with a greater understanding of mental health and wellbeing, helping them to recognise common mental health conditions and the factors that can influence an individual's mental health. Throughout the course, learners will explore the importance of mental wellbeing, challenge common misconceptions surrounding mental health, and develop an awareness of how to support individuals appropriately while promoting positive mental health practices. This qualification is ideal for fitness professionals and anyone working with people who wants to build their confidence in understanding and discussing mental health in a supportive and informed way. In addition, this qualification is recognised by CIMSPA and awards 10 CIMSPA CPD points upon successful completion, supporting your ongoing professional development within the fitness industry.
