Study Active, the exclusive home of Premier Global, are the UK’s leading provider of Gym Instructing & Personal Training courses.
Founded by nationally renowned fitness educator James Luscombe in 2012, Study Active have continually innovated and evolved the way that Personal Trainer courses are delivered, setting the bar for a new era of fitness education.
In March 2024 Study Active acquired the Premier Global brand thus paving the way for anew era of quality in the fitness education sector.

All of our fitness education courses are awarded by Active IQ (the UK leading awarding body for fitness qualifications), endorsed by CIMSPA and regulated by Ofqual – we tick every box!
Further our level 3 Nutrition carries Association for Nutrition (AfN) certification whilst our Level 4 Nutrition course is awarded by the Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH)
