Q. What is blended learning?

A. Study Active uses blended learning for all of its courses. Studying is done online, via a combination of e-learning and webinars for theoretical units whilst, if part of your course, practical units are delivered via flexible practical workshops. During your study you will have access to a wealth of interactive content that takes you through each step of your course, which can be accessed whenever and wherever you like as you learn at your own pace!


Q. Do I have to attend any sessions?

A. You can complete many units using our interactive online resources, then you will need to attend practical workshops which focus purely on practical skills. These are always held at convenient times (usually on weekends) and are repeated each month throughout the year, so just choose what suits you best!


Q. What support will I get throughout my study?

A. As much as you like! We are there to support you through every step of your learning. We communicate with all of our students on a very regular basis to ensure they have the support they need via e-mail, telephone, face to face and Skype.We are standing by to support you.


Q. How will I be assessed?

A. Course usually have coursework, practical exams and theory exams. For exams You  will need to book onto an assessment day. We have regular slots on all days of the week so finding a suitable date is easy. On your assessment day you may take any theory and / or practical examinations. 


Q. How long does it take to complete a course?

A. Usually it takes around 4-6 months  (based on part time study) however  some students go for accelerated learning and qualify very quickly. This is up to you! 


Q. Are these courses nationally recognised?

A. Absolutely yes! Study Active qualifications are all accredited by Active IQ, a nationally recognised awarding body. All our qualifications are also fully recognised by CIMSPA and will be nationally recognised throughout the fitness industry.


Q. Why are the courses so competitively priced compared to other providers?

A. Simple. We reduce our costs by offering all of our study via blended learning. This means we do not have to factor in the cost of classroom facilities, which brings the course delivery costs down and we pass this saving on to you!  And for the record there is absolutely no difference in your certificate whether it is studied blended learning or classroom learning.


Q. Do I have to pay in full?

A. You may pay in full or via interest free monthly instalments. You will have the option to set this up when enrolling online or over the phone.
