Payment Plan Conditions

GOCARDLESS 0% INTEREST PAYMENT PLAN

1.          OVERVIEW

Interest-free payments spread over equal monthly instalments for a maximum of 12 months. Full amount must be paid within 12 months of sign-up.

2.          DIRECT DEBIT AUTHORISATION

You will complete a GoCardless Direct Debit Mandate, authorising us to collect payments as per the agreed payment schedule.

3.          ADVANCE NOTIFICATION

GoCardless will email you at least three working days before each payment collection, as required by the UK Direct Debit Guarantee.

4.          PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Payments are due on the same day each month. You must ensure that sufficient funds are available on each due date. Missed payments will be considered a default under these terms (see paragraph 8 below).

5.          CERTIFICATES

As per our General Terms and Conditions https://studyactive.co.uk/pages/terms-and-conditions you will be issued a certificate upon successful completion of all required assessments, provided that we have received full payment from you for the course. As such, if you have successfully completed all required assessments but not yet paid us the full amount then we will only issue a certificate when the full amount is paid.

6.          DIRECT DEBIT GUARANTEE AND REFUNDS

Refunds and unauthorised or incorrect collections are protected under the UK Direct Debit Mandate. You may cancel your mandate at any time via your bank or by contacting us by email to admin@studyactive.co.uk but any outstanding amount must first be paid in full.

7.          COMMUNICATION AND HELP

If you anticipate payment difficulty, please contact us by email to admin@studyactive.co.uk at least five working days before the due date for payment. We will consider alternative arrangements at our sole discretion.

8.          DEFAULT AND DISCOUNT REMOVAL

Missed payments may result in cancellation of any promotional or agreed discounts, and full outstanding balance becoming immediately due. We reserve the right to pursue legal or debt recovery action, including collection costs.

9.          MANDATE MANAGEMENT

You may cancel the GoCardless mandate at any time. Please note this does not release you from your payment obligations. For modified or resumed payment arrangements, contact us by email to admin@studyactive.co.uk.

10.       GOCARDLESS ROLE

GoCardless Ltd is our authorised payment processor under the UK Payment Services Regulations 2017. They are not a contracting party for our courses. Please address any course disputes directly with us.

11.       GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These terms are governed by English law and wherever you live you can bring claims against us in the English courts. If you live in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring claims against us in the courts of the country you live in. We can claim against you in the courts of the country you live in.

12.       DATA PROTECTION

How we use any personal data you give us is set out in our Privacy Policy available at https://studyactive.co.uk/pages/privacy-policy. We share your personal data with GoCardless Ltd solely to facilitate payment collections and administer refund claims.

13.       ACCEPTANCE

By completing the GoCardless mandate, you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these terms, authorising us to collect payments accordingly and commit to full payment within 12 months.
