This qualification has a Guided Learning Hours (GLH) value of 40 hours and a Total Qualification Time (TQT) of 50 hours, reflecting the time required to complete both guided study and independent learning. The qualification is designed for fitness professionals who want to develop the specialist knowledge and skills needed to safely support women during pregnancy and the postnatal period. Throughout the course, learners will gain an understanding of the physiological and anatomical changes associated with pregnancy, exercise considerations for pre and postnatal clients, nutritional requirements, and how to adapt programmes to meet individual needs safely and effectively. This qualification enables fitness professionals to provide informed, evidence-based support to help clients maintain their health, wellbeing, and fitness throughout their pre and postnatal journey. In addition, this qualification is recognised by CIMSPA and awards 10 CIMSPA CPD points upon successful completion, supporting your ongoing professional development within the fitness industry.
