It was announced on Thursday 26th October 2023 at the prestigious ukactive awards (the event we call the Oscars for the fitness industry) that Study Active are the winners of ‘Education Provider of the Year’ 2023.
The ukactive awards are designed to highlight and acknowledge excellence and innovation across the health & fitness sector in the UK, therefore to win is a fantastic achievement.
The event this year was held for the first time at the New Dock Royal Armouries in Leeds and saw the fitness industry come together to celebrate the success of the finalists for each category. Study Active was also a finalist for ‘Supplier of the Year’ so in the lead up to the event the anticipation and nerves were high as the competition was tough for the two categories.
The ‘Education Provider of the Year’ award which was sponsored by Active IQ aims to celebrate exceptional fitness educational delivery whilst demonstrating the development of the innovative resources of assessments and exams with nothing but exceptional standards.
The award was collected by James Luscombe Managing Director and Justine Luscombe Operations Director and was presented by Jenny Patrickson, Manager Director of Active IQ. James and Justine were joined on stage by several members of the Study Active team.
Prior to the winning announcement, the judges commented on how they were impressed with Study Active’s passion for their product within the fitness education sector and remarkable work by world defining aims which demonstrated how their programme thrives within the world of remote learning and working. The judges highlighted that Study Active have always been ahead of the game with the use of digital technology to ensure a long-term future proof product which is appropriate to all potential and current student needs and abilities with a flexible blended learning programme.
The event was a big success for Study Active and to leave the awards ceremony as winners of ‘Education Provider of the Year’ was an overwhelming achievement for the whole team.
