It doesn’t matter where you are based in the UK – we have a course for you! In fact, even though our National Centre of Excellence is in Hertfordshire (near London), Study Active are one of only a few providers who recruit aspiring Personal Trainer students nationwide from all over the United Kingdom!
How does Study Active reach students all over the UK?
We use state of the art digital technology to ensure that all of our Personal Trainer courses are accessible online, meaning that you can study from anywhere that has an internet connection. Further to this, unlike some other providers who will outsource students to freelance tutors, we have a dedicated virtual team of genuine fitness experts who are talking to learners all day every day via phone, email, Teams or Zoom.

What about practical assessments?
It’s very simple – you have two choices. If you want to go to your local gym (be that in London, Birmingham, Newcastle or wherever you are in the UK!), record your practical and send to us via video file then that is absolutely fine with us – this way you do not have to leave your local area.
We do however have an esteemed Centre of Excellence, conveniently based quite centrally in Hertfordshire (very close to London, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Kent and Bedfordshire!) where yoiu can come to us to have one-to-one coaching and also take your practical assessment face-to-face - we always reccomend this option!
Unlike some of our rivals who will simply match up students with random freelance assessors in random gyms, we are the only provider to have a dedicated National Centre of Excellence where you can come in for your live face-to-face practical assessments!
So there is your choice – record in your local gym – anywhere in the UK - or make the trip to our National Centre of Excellence in Hertfordshire!
Where can I record my practical assessments?
As long as there is a commercial grade gym, then you can use any nationwide commercial gym in the UK! We have had students record their practical’s all the way from Brighton to Aberdeen! You name the City and we’ve had a practical received from there!

We are so keen for you to come in to us, that unlike just about every similar provider out there, we do not charge anything extra for you to come in to us!

Study Active has partnered with national gym-chain The Gym Group. This means that our graduates are eligible for a guaranteed interview in any of their 236 nationwide gyms!
