What qualifications will I receive with this bundle?
You’ll achieve three Ofqual-regulated, nationally recognised qualifications:
- Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing (Active IQ or Focus Awards)
- Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training (Active IQ or Focus Awards)
- RSPH Level 4 Award in Nutrition (Royal Society for Public Health)
All are CIMSPA-endorsed and respected throughout the UK health and fitness industry.
Are there any entry requirements?
No formal qualifications are required. The bundle is designed to take you from beginner to advanced level, covering everything from foundational fitness knowledge to applied nutrition coaching.
How is the bundle delivered and assessed?
Study Active uses a flexible blended learning model that includes interactive online study, video tutorials, webinars, and optional in-person or virtual assessments. Level 2 and 3 components involve practical and theoretical assessments, while the Level 4 Nutrition qualification is assessed through coursework.
How long will the course take to complete?
Completion time varies by learner. Most students complete the bundle within 6–12 months, studying part-time. You’ll have 12 months of full access to learning materials and tutor support, with options to extend if needed.
Who are the awarding bodies?
The Level 2 and 3 qualifications are awarded by Active IQ or Focus Awards, both respected UK fitness awarding organisations. The Level 4 Nutrition qualification is awarded by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH).
What topics will I learn across the three qualifications?
Across the full bundle, you’ll study:
- Anatomy, physiology, and exercise science
- Gym-based instruction and personal training techniques
- Client assessment, motivation, and lifestyle management
- Advanced nutrition principles and dietary guidance
- Nutritional support for health, performance, and special populations
How is the course supported?
You’ll receive one-on-one tutor support throughout your studies via phone, email, and Teams. You’ll also have access to webinars, study manuals, and digital learning resources through our interactive platform.
What career opportunities does this qualification provide?
Graduates can work as Personal Trainers, Gym Instructors, or Nutrition Coaches. This bundle opens doors to roles in gyms, studios, and health clubs, or allows you to launch your own fitness and nutrition business.
Can I progress beyond this bundle?
Yes, after completing this course you can progress to advanced Level 4 specialisations such as Strength and Conditioning, Exercise Referral, or Advanced Personal Training.
Are payment plans offered?
Yes, Study Active offers flexible, interest-free payment plans for UK-based learners. International payment options are also available.
How long is access for?
You’ll have 12 months of access from your enrolment date. Extensions are available for a small additional fee if required.
Is this qualification recognised by employers?
Yes — all three qualifications are Ofqual regulated, CIMSPA endorsed, and recognised by employers and fitness organisations throughout the UK and internationally.
